About Mrs. Ellen Landskroener...
Mrs. Landskroener grew up in Lansing, Michigan, where she was blessed to attend Lutheran elementary and high school. She knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a teacher and eventually attended Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan. There she earned an elementary education degree and received a Lutheran Teaching Diploma (LTD). Two years later, she attended Michigan State University where she received a Master's Degree.
She has taught for 13 years in four different Lutheran Schools, including many different grades, but her absolute favorite is art. She loves encouraging her students to express themselves and be creative though their art work. Art is also considered an opportunity to teach and discuss the faith and God's incredible love and grace shown to us.
When not teaching, she loves to spend time with her husband Jim and her four children - Abigail, Noah, Elisabeth, and Ben. She enjoys perennial gardening, sewing, knitting, reading, and traveling. Another hobby of hers is teaching piano lessons which she has done for 29 years. She and her family have lived in Toledo since 2012.
